What are the benefits of tutoring?

 Fun and Engaging Sessions

I aim to ensure sessions are enjoyable

child's interests to foster a love of
learning. I use tools and strategies to boost your child's independence, engagement and self-belief.

 Confidence and Self-esteem

My aim is for your child to enjoy learning, understand their strengths and challenges and develop a 'can do' attitude.

*Metacognition Skills

Metacognition is basically learning to think about our thinking and using this information
to improve our learning potential.  Metacognition plays a crucial role in helping learners
evaluate, plan and monitor their learning strategies.  This in turn empowers learners to

Comments from parents and children

“You are fun, kind and helpful. I have learnt lots. Thank you.”  EB

We know we’ve all learnt a lot over this year and we really appreciate your time and flexibility in listening
to us.  You haven’t tried to squash xxxxx into a  mould (like the average child) but you’ve shaped and showed him appropriateness, which has helped him
keep his character with some self-control."
Mrs T

"Thank you for your patience and understanding." TJ
